"Always Had Their Mother"
February 7, 2008
I am a stay at home mother of a two year old little boy and another little boy on the way. My husband and I have been married for 3 years but this story isn't about me. This story is about someone who my family and I call "Our Angel". Her name is Rhonda, She is a mother of 3. Two boys and one girl. She had her first two children with her first husband. They lived a very hard life, both of her older children grew up with very little but they always had their mother. Rhonda got pregnant again at a later time with her 3rd child. Not long after she had her 3rd child her husband was diagnosed with cancer. While still taking care of her three children she also took care of her sick husband. When her 3rd child was still very young, Rhonda"s husband passed away. Which was so hard for her. but she never let it change her wonderful ways.
Not only is she a wonderful mother to her own three kids. She is also a role model and a "mother" to my husband and I. My husband and I grew up with very hard childhoods with mothers that weren't always there but we always had someone by our side to talk to hug us when things were hard, to give us a soft place to land when we had no were else to go, her name is Rhonda. Rhonda helped me through the death of my brother, my grandparents, my father and also my mother. Without her I don't know where I would be today. Rhonda also helped my husband with many of his problems. My husband has had 8 step-fathers whom have abused him and have treated him horribly. No one was there for him but Rhonda. Rhonda has always opened her home and her heart to me and my family. She is a true angel here on earth. She gives and gives and never expects anything in return. My husband and I have adopted her as our mother also. She has been the one steady person in our lives that we could always count on. We truly believe that God has sent Rhonda to our lives to help us. She is a true Angel!
